Contracts A and B are following the approved planning process for a ‘Group B’ in accordance with the MTO Class EA for Provincial Transportation Facilities (2000).  The two contracts are proceeding along different design and construction timelines and will therefore each follow a separate MTO Class EA Group B process.  A Public Information Centre is planned for Contract B at a future date and advance notification will be provided.

A separate Design and Construction Report (DCR) will be prepared to document the study process completed for each contract including the recommended detail design improvements, anticipated environmental impacts and proposed mitigation measures as well as the consultation undertaken throughout the process.

The DCR for each contract will be made available at a future date and will be placed on the public record for a 30-day comment period. Notification regarding the availability of the reports will be provided.
